The Academy of Country Music is celebrating over 60 years of improving lives by connecting fans, artists, and the industry, and now's your chance to be a part of history by becoming an ACM member.
From its founding in 1964 as a regional trade organization, the Academy of Country Music has grown in the over 60 years since into a leading association for the Country Music industry. Today, with more than 5,000 professional members nationwide, the Academy is more dedicated than ever to serving as a powerhouse advocate for Country fans, artists, and the business sector, as well as promoting new artists, artists on the rise, and established superstars. The ACM is also a proud and active supporter of philanthropic work through its charitable arm ACM Lifting Lives®, which harnesses the power of the Country Music community and partners to provide aid in times of need, with a focus on health-related initiatives.
With the relocation of the organization's headquarters to Nashville after decades in Los Angeles, and, in a historic partnership with Amazon, its iconic Academy of Country Music Awards™ streams live on Prime Video in over 240 territories all over the globe, there's truly never been a better time to join the Academy of Country Music and be a member of this dynamic, historic, and vigorous community of thought leaders, power players, and creative pioneers.

If you are an active member, log in to the ACM Portal to manage your membership and account.
Apply for membership
Individual applications are for applicants who are applying as an individual who is not being added to an existing company account with ACM. Company applications are for organizations made up of 7+ members who do not currently have a company account. Submember applications are for applicants applying under an existing company account; please check with your company first to confirm a company account exists at ACM.
Renew your membership
If you are a renewing member, you will receive an email prompting you to complete the renewal process. If you have not received this email, please reach out to membership@acmcountry.com. Company admins can follow the renewal and multiple-accounts guides.
If the applicant for a company is not a member, they will also have to fill out a submember application. Do not allow anyone at your company to fill out a submember application until your company has been approved and you have been notified by ACM. Questions: membership@acmcountry.com
Who can join
Member eligibility is limited to individuals and industry business organizations whose primary professional engagement is in the creation, production, promotion and distribution of country music. Membership approval is subject to the complete discretion of the Board.
Individual members
$125 annuallyAn "Individual Member" must be a natural person whose primary professional engagement is in the creation, production, promotion, and distribution of country music. Any such person is eligible for membership as an Individual Member only upon approval of the Board of their application for membership and upon timely payment of the annual dues established by the Board for Individual Members. Individual membership dues are $125 annually and are non-transferrable or refundable.
Corporate members
Tiered by roster sizeTo become a "Corporate Member" an organization must be either an industry business organization whose primary professional engagement is in creating, producing, promoting, and distributing country music, or an industry business organization that works in the country music space but where it is not the core focus of business. Organizations in the second tier are limited to a maximum of 20 corporate members (15 + 5 international).
A person is eligible for membership as a Corporate Member only upon approval of the Board of their application and upon timely payment of the annual dues established by the Board for Corporate Members, provided that in no event shall there be more than the allotted number of Corporate Members employed by the same record label or other industry organization or its affiliates, depending on their tier level.
